Mail Club Hub is a directory for people who love real mail. We collect only what we need to run it, we never sell your information, and we tell you plainly what happens to it. This page explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:
- Account details: your email address when you create an account or add a club.
- Club submissions: the club information you enter, plus the submitter's name and email.
- Newsletter signups: your email address (and whether you're a reader, a creator, or both).
- Quiz answers: your choices and, if you ask for your results, your email.
- Gift cards: the buyer's email, and at redemption the recipient's name and US shipping address, so the club can mail their month.
- Saved clubs: the clubs you add to your wishlist.
- Basic technical data: standard server logs and an anti-spam check (Cloudflare Turnstile). We do not use advertising trackers.
How we use it
To run the directory and do the things you ask us to: send the newsletter or quiz results you signed up for, list and manage your club, process and fulfil gift cards, keep your saved clubs, answer your questions, and keep the site secure and free of spam.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only where it's needed:
- The club you choose: when you redeem a gift card, we give that one club the recipient's name and shipping address so they can mail the month, and nothing more.
- Service providers who run the plumbing: Supabase (database + accounts), Brevo (email), Stripe (gift-card payments), and Cloudflare (hosting + security). They handle your data only to provide their service to us.
- If the law requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of people using the site.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you have an account or need what you signed up for. Gift-card shipping addresses are kept only as long as needed to fulfil the mailing and resolve any issues, then removed. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom of it. You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by writing to us on the contact page.
Children
Mail Club Hub is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the date below. Meaningful changes will be noted clearly.
