Postcards From

There’s a particular kind of magic in finding something in your mailbox that isn’t a bill.

I’ve been thinking about that lately – and the fact that, meanwhile, the photos I make live and die on screens: seen once in a scroll, then gone.

So I made something to fix that, at least a little. It’s called Postcards From…, a snail mail club. No rules, no themes, just my view of the world – the places, light, and moments that caught my eye. Every month, a paper envelope with printed postcards and notes, landing in your actual mailbox.

I like that it forces a decision. Most of my photos live captive inside a computer and never really arrive anywhere. With Postcards From…, one has to be finished, printed, and put in an envelope by a certain date, which is a different kind of discipline than posting online.

They’re high-quality A5 prints, perfect to frame if one of them speaks to you. Nothing algorithmic decides what you see – just me, deciding it’s worth printing and sending.

It’s a small, slow thing in a fast, loud world.
